Directions to Tavistock Books

From SF & points north of Oakland, take the connector toward 880S and while still on the connector, exit right, at the Alameda/Oakland exit. Go right at the light, staying in the right lane, follow the signs to Alameda (you'll end up southbound on 5th street in Oakland). As you approach the intersection of Broadway & 5th (Washington is the street prior), be in one of the 2 left lanes. Turn left 45 degrees into the Alameda tunnel. Go through the tube, on exiting, straight ahead down Webster street (CA Hwy 61).

From Walnut Creek and points East: Take 980W to 880S. Exit right at Jackson St, go right then another immediate right on 4th, go straight a number of blocks, then right at Broadway. Stay in right lane and at the next light, go right 45 degrees into the Alameda tunnel entrance. Go through the tube, on exiting, straight ahead down Webster street (CA Hwy 61).

From Points South of Oakland. 880N to Broadway exit. Left at light, immediate left to Webster tube entrance. Go through the tube, on exiting, straight ahead down Webster street (CA Hwy 61).

1503 Webster Street is about 1 mile from the tube exit, down from the College of Alameda. It is on the right, across the street from Tillie's Diner. Next immediate cross street Santa Clara. A public parking lot in the next block on right (and this is NOT San Francisco... it's 50¢, that's right, 50¢, an hour).
